Brad Andrews

Brad is an IT expert who joined AHA in 2003. He has successfully designed and managed large databases for many AHA projects to produce timely informative statistical reports and analysis.

Brad recently designed a system for the administration of the Aged Care GP Panels Surveys. These projects required the database to administer and analyse survey results from a representative sample of 1,264 residential aged care facilities at the National, State/Territory and Division of General Practice level.

Brad is currently a key member of our CSO Administration Agency team. A major component of his role is using the specially developed CSO information system to validate and analyse monthly sales data from all eligible CSO pharmaceutical distributors. This includes ensuring that they are meeting their obligations under the CSO Funding Pool deed.

Brad has developed and managed large datasets and provided administration and technical support for many AHA projects including:

• Community nursing reviews for the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Victorian,Tasmanian and ACT HACC Agency Assessments (DHS, DHHS and ACT Health)
• National Delegation Training for ACATs (DoHA)
• Benchmarking Unit Costs for HACC services in NSW
• Young People in Nursing Homes Research Project for the National Disability Administrators
• CSTDA Annual Public Reports (FaHCSIA)

Brad also devised, implemented and maintains all AHA’s computer and backup systems.  This includes the development of a database to monitor and assess AHA’s quality processes, and the implementation of a backup regime to ensure the security and protection of all information.
