Chiara To
Chiara is a registered pharmacist who has worked in community pharmacies in South Australia and Victoria. She has a sound understanding of contemporary pharmacy practice issues, community health issues, the Australian healthcare system and in particular the National Medicines Policy. She has detailed knowledge of the PBS, community pharmacy, and the pharmaceuticals supply chain in Australia.
As a community pharmacist, Chiara has been involved in a several community health services, including the NDSS, the Patient Medication Profiling Program, the Opioid Substitution Program and the Dose Administration Aids Program.
Her continued work in pharmacy on a locum basis, gives her unique insight into the industry and the direct impact of these projects on the healthcare sector.
Chiara has been involved in a wide range of consulting projects, applying her strong communication and analysis skills. Chiara has worked alongside healthcare professionals and industry bodies to improve and optimise community health outcomes. She is a key member of the AHA project teams conducting the following ongoing projects on behalf of DoHA:
- Administration Agency for the Community Service Obligation (CSO) Funding Pool
- Expanded and Accelerated Price Disclosure (EAPD).
