Dr Christine Hirst

Dr Christine Hirst is a registered pharmacist with a PhD in drug delivery, and over 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. This has included specialist and senior roles in GlaxoSmithKline Australia for 23 years.

Specialist projects performed by Christine have included the management and development of four major international pharmaceutical products and the re-building of a major pharmaceutical plant with the introduction of new manufacturing technology in Australia.

Christine has recently undertaken two in-depth reviews of drug costs and usage and pharmacy services within a Victorian Hospital Network and for two large NSW area health services. Christine has also served on a number of government advisory committees as a scientific and industry expert.
