Dr Cliff Kelland

Dr Cliff Kelland is AHA's Medical Director.  Cliff combines a strong, clinical background, as a specialist psychiatrist and as a pathologist, with his broad management expertise, which include creating and successfully managing a major private pathology practice.

He was the founding President of the Australian Association of Pathology Practices and a long serving member of two Federal government committees on the funding and structure of pathology services . He has served on the Executive of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and on the Federal Council of the Australian Medical Association. Cliff has maintained strong links with the private and public health sectors and with government. Recent projects include advising an international investor on prospective laboratory acquisitions in several countries.
