Jessica Small

Jessica graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), where she gained advanced research, written communication and editing skills.

Jessica has worked as a supervisor in the call centre of TNS Global, a large market research company, where she developed strong project management skills.

Jessica’s current role within AHA is to coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of AHA’s quality review programs:

• Victorian HACC Agency Assessment Program – assessment of 375 service providers
• Tasmanian HACC Agency Appraisal Program – assessment of 75 service providers
• FRSP Approval Requirements Assessment Program – assessment of 150 funded agencies nationally.

These large-scale, logistically complex programs require extensive liaison with all project stakeholders, including relevant Departmental staff, service providers, and the quality assessment team. Tasks involve arranging information and training sessions, scheduling on-site quality reviews, managing the assessment team’s schedule, regular reporting to relevant departments, and general project planning.

Jessica has utilised her project management, communication and writing skills to provide support for a number of AHA’s other recent projects, including:

• Stage One Access Points – Queensland Mapping
• Developing the Quality Framework for Community Care
• Provision of a Summary and Comparison of the Key Structural Features of Selected Overseas and the Australian Organ and Tissue Donation Sector
• Review of the Aged Care GP Panels Initiative
