Leah Kane

Leah initially trained as a registered nurse, and worked for four years as a registered nurse, prior to commencing a law degree. Following completion of her law degree, Leah practiced as a lawyer for ten years. In recent years, Leah has gained qualifications and experience as an Aged Care Quality Assessor and QICSA reviewer, and has worked in a healthcare service.

Her most recent role was as Quality and Compliance Officer at Western Region Health Centre, where she has managed the Health Centre’s AGPAL (General Practice) and QICSA accreditation system.

Leah’s experience in this role and as a QICSA reviewer and Aged Care Quality Assessor make her ideally suited to conducting quality assurance reviews on behalf of AHA.
