Lisa Kipping
Lisa has worked in the aged care industry for over twenty years. Beginning her career as a General Nurse, Lisa spent 10 years in various ‘hands on’ nursing care roles. She then progressed into management roles, with particular focus on staff management and the development and coordination of staff improvement programs.
She was appointed CEO of Kellock Lodge, a rural residential aged care and community services organisation. Her responsibilities, over 9 years encompassed all aspects of running this leading aged care facility. Responsibilities included the coordination of Personal Care and RCS, medical and nursing management of aged clients, and Occupational Health and Safety systems. During her term, Lisa successfully achieved 2 cycles of accreditation, a 3 year Satisfactory rating with the Aged Care Accreditation Agency and coordinated a six month pilot of the "Excellence in Aged Care" program implemented by the Australian Quality Council.
Lisa is also a qualified Aged Care External Assessor. In 1999, she completed the Aged Care External Assessors Course, achieving an overall classification of Excellent for 10 out of the 12 gradable components.
