Liz Sutton

Liz Sutton has a background as a registered nurse and has expertise in policy analysis, project management and communications in the health and community service fields.  Liz has qualifications at the graduate level in psychology and English, and at the post graduate level in English and communications.

Liz has extensive experience in working effectively with stakeholders from various fields including government, health and community sector professionals.  Her specialist skills include policy research, development and analysis.  Organisations which Liz has worked for include:

Current and recent consulting projects include:
  • Analysis of work place practice in radiology, and the implications of revised workplace practice on the radiology service team
  • Review of a communications strategy for Anex relating to pharmacotherapuetics
  • Independent Review of Australians Donate

Liz has also been involved in a number of change management projects, including:
  • introduction of tobacco reforms in Victoria
  • implementation of a peer review process and quality assurance mechanism for medical practitioners approved as Independent Medical Examiners
  • the review of the use of drug treatment services and specifically opioid replacements whilst working with the Drug Policy Expert Committee.
