Peter Geary

Peter, a Founding Director of AHA, has over 20 years of experience as a healthcare consultant. He has a highly developed understanding of the implementation, operation, funding and evaluation of health programs and initiatives within the acute, aged and community care sectors.

Peter is a qualified Chartered Accountant and registered company auditor. His previous roles have included:

• Director of the Healthcare Consulting Division of PriceWaterhouseCoopers
• Economic adviser to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR).
• Practice Manager of a leading radiology practice.

Since the establishment of AHA in 1992, Peter has successfully managed in excess of 100 consultancies. Peter has had specific responsibility for our wide range of strategic reviews and program evaluation studies. He has also directed the successful conduct of our ongoing quality assessment programs.

Peter is a skilled facilitator with sophisticated project management and presentation skills. He is known for his ability to effectively communicate with and engage a wide range of different stakeholders.
