Richard Stock
Richard, a founding Director of AHA, is a Chartered Accountant who brings to the team recognised expertise in financial, economic and statistical analysis and in evaluation. He has project managed in excess of 100 consultancies in the health care sector over the last 20 years.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Scotland in 1980 and was an auditor for several years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, prior to moving into the commercial sector as financial manager and then financial director. After migrating to Australia in 1987, Richard joined the Healthcare Division of PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior consultant. He acquired a broad base of consulting experience, including working with some of the largest public and private healthcare organisations in Australia.
Since 1992, as a Director of AHA, Richard has taken a leadership role in many of the projects we have conducted. He has worked with a wide range of health care organisations encompassing residential aged care, primary and community care, disability, mental health, hospitals, blood and pharmaceuticals.
Richard provides AHA with outstanding project management ability combined with strong financial, economic and evaluation expertise. He also has a keen interest in quality and is a member of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua).
