On behalf of the Commonwealth Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, we undertook consumer consultations in the form of focus groups, face-to-face interviews, written surveys (in easy English) and telephone interviews. These consultations to assess their views in relation to the new funding initiative, have been with community service clients in all areas of Australia including people with intellectual and learning disabilities, and people with psychiatric disabilities.
