As part of the Victorian Department of Human Service’s (DHS) ongoing efforts to improve the quality of HACC services delivered in the State, Australian Healthcare Associates was involved in presenting at a series of 11 HACC Quality Improvement Forums. AHA’s two presentations at these Forums were entitled “Meeting the HACC Standards” and “What Constitutes High Performance?”
The need for these forums was identified through the Victorian HACC agency assessment Program, which involved the assessment, by AHA, of all 481 HACC agencies in Victoria, against the HACC National Service Standards. The forums are designed to provide education regarding matters addressed by the National Standards, where overall agency compliance was comparatively low.
