Community Service Obligation Funding Pool Administration Agency (DoHA)
The Department of Health and Ageing has appointed AHA as the Administration Agency for the CSO funding pool. Administrative functions provided by AHA include:
- undertaking payment calculations
- monitoring the performance of eligible CSO Distributors against specific service standards
- administering a complaints process and sanctions framework.
Price Disclosure Data Administrator (DoHA)
In 2011, the Department of Health and Ageing appointed AHA as Data Administrator for Expanded and Accelerated Price Disclosure (EAPD).
AHA will help the Department with the ongoing administration of Price Disclosure, including collecting data submissions from pharmaceutical suppliers, undertaking Price Disclosure related calculations and result notifications.
EQHS Accreditation Administrator (OATSIH)
AHA is engaged by the Department of Health and Ageing, Office of Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Health (OATSIH), to provide ongoing management and administration services in relation to the Establishing Quality Health Standards (EQHS) measure.
Administrator for Viewhills Manor - residential aged care facility
AHA recently acted, on behalf of the Department of Health and Ageing, as administrator for Viewhills Manor, a residential aged care facility. Viewhills Manor had been failing to meet relevant quality and service standards and there was considered to be significant risk to the welfare of their residents and staff.
Australian Association of Practice Managers (AAPM)
For over 7 years, AHA provided National and State secretariat services for the AAPM, which covers most medical practices across Australia. AHA therefore has extensive knowledge and insight to the practical issues of operating medical practices.
