AHA was engaged by the Victorian Department of Human Services to develop strategies to implement the HACC National Standards Instrument and Guidelines and to undertake the ongoing monitoring and reporting of compliance against the Standards by HACC funded agencies. As part of this project, we assessed approximately 500 HACC agencies throughout Victoria against the standards. Assessments commenced in May 2003 and were completed by April 2004. Training of all HACC service providers regarding the Standards occurred prior to the commencement of the assessments.
AHA is contracted to conduct the second round of HACC assessments of quality service delivery in Victoria. Assessments are scheduled to occur between November 2006 and March 2008.
