AHA was engaged by DoHA to develop educational material for HACC service providers. This material aimed to improve HACC service providers’ knowledge of issues relating to the following three objectives:
- HACC Objective 5 - Privacy, confidentiality and access to personal information
- HACC Objective 6 - Complaints and disputes, and
- HACC Objective 7 - Advocacy.
The educational material developed has the capacity to be used as both an in-house training resource for service providers and to be delivered by formal external presenters. The material was designed for use by all types of service providers, including ATSI, CALD, multi-purpose, small, and rural and remote agencies.
