Karen initially worked as a veterinary nurse and then in (human) nursing. This led to a career providing medical administration support. She has worked in specialist medical rooms; small and large medical departments, including medical imaging; aged care and disability services.
Karenne joined AHA in 2018, applying her medical administration skills to our Long Form Outcomes Framework (LFOF) Data Collection project on behalf of the National Disability Insurance Scheme. She is currently a project support officer for our Program for Students with a Disability (PSD) project on behalf of the Victorian Department of Education and Training.
Karenne’s nursing background led to a career in medical administration and support.
