AHA conducted an economic modelling project to provide a clear understanding of the costs associated with After Hours Primary Medical Care (General Practice) services.

The project was a confidential study involving a selection of practices.  The aggregated data and information was used to inform the AHPMC Evaluation and Policy Advisory Group (EPAG) in formulating recommendations for enhancing after hours care around the nation, with a particular view to identifying and/or developing service models that are financially viable and sustainable.
