On behalf of the Department, AHA arranged and conducted components of a series of training seminars for 182 Community Participation service providers throughout New South Wales.

The purpose of the training package was to give potential service providers an equitable chance to compete in an upcoming tender by helping them to develop a sound understanding of how to tender, how to cost their services, and the links between their program design, service models and costs.

The training seminars consisted of two modules:

• Module 1-NSW Government tendering for human services
• Module 2-Community Participation Program costing: How to assess the costs of providing Community Participation services and design programs within a fixed budget.
