AHA was engaged to provide analysis of Approved Pathology Collection Centre (ACC) rents. The objective was to identify trends in ACC rental costs, following deregulation of pathology collection centres. The pathology industry believed that pathology fees had not kept pace with increases in rental costs.

This project primarily involved analysis of a dataset containing approximately 11,000 lines of data provided to AHA by the Department. Reporting identified and commented on trends over time in the number of ACCs, ACC rental amounts and outgoings for ACCs.
