The NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC) developed a single the Integrated Monitoring Framework, that incorporates the Quality Standards for both government-funded and government-operated services in NSW.

To assist this work, AHA was engaged to develop a range of stakeholder resources.  AHA developed and delivered:

  • Guide to quality systems for service providers.
    The guide introduces the concept of a quality system and provides instructions for implementing a quality system
  • Guide to DADHC’s quality requirements and quality framework.
    This guide includes information about DADHC Quality policy and its application, including explanation of the assessment verification process. Key information includes details of the ADHC Quality Requirements and Evidence Signposts and planning and implementing quality improvement processes.
  • Service Provider self assessment tool and guide.
    This resource focuses on evidence gathering and verification and how to complete the self assessment tool
  • Resource guide for assessors.
    This comprehensive reference includes the key elements of each of the stakeholder resources and included detailed information about the onsite verification assessment process and the principles of evidence gathering, verification and reporting. The guide includes a suite of template tools for assessor use
  • Assessor training package.
    The training package provides two delivery options including a two day facilitated program and a one day facilitated and a self paced program. Materials include a participant materials booklet, facilitators guide and a PowerPoint presentation.
DADHC provides services and support to to an estimated 300,000 older people, people with a disability and their carers in NSW.
