AHA completed a program evaluation of the Haemophilia Foundation of Australia (HFA) on behalf of the Australian Government.

The evaluation considered and made recommendations in relation to:
•Outputs from the HFA including reports, newsletters, websites, resources, conference presentations and published articles
•Improving the HFA’s financial and performance reports/statements to the Department
•HFA’s continued relevance to the Department of Health and Ageing’s objectives and the appropriateness of continued funding by the Department
•Consequences of not continuing funding to the HFA for both the government and the Australian public; and
•Administrative arrangements between the Department and HFA.

The Haemophilia Foundation of Australia (HFA) is the peak body representing people with inherited bleeding disorders and their families.
