AHA was engaged by the Victorian Department of Health &Human Services to evaluate the State-wide Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) for Paediatric services.

Our role included assessing clinician and health service awareness, use and adoption of the state-wide CPGs, which were produced by the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH).
The evaluation achieved high levels of stakeholder engagement. Stakeholders comprised clinicians involved in the provision of care to paediatric patients in Victoria. Consultations involved a mix of telephone interviews with clinicians, a state-wide survey and input from four peak bodies.

Additionally, RCH web analytics data was analysed to review CPG access patterns. A comparative analysis of state-wide and non-adapted CPGs was also undertaken to review layout, design and format.
A final report was produced with key recommendations to enhance the CPGs and facilitating more consistent use and uptake.
