She started her career as a hospital and community pharmacist in regional Victoria and the UK, working across a range of clinical areas. Her interest in clinical research prompted her to move into the pharmaceutical industry, where for five years she managed clinical research projects in Australia and New Zealand, across many different therapeutic areas.
In 2009, Katie joined Deloitte Access Economics – Health Economics and Social Policy division. Over the next seven years, she rose to become a senior project manger, managing a vast array of projects including:
Katie is quick to understand new projects and different aspects of the health sector, enabling her to effectively consult with stakeholders, synthesise and analyse feedback, and draw findings into meaningful insight and reports for clients. She is equally able to add value as a team member and a project manager.
