Anna Ng

Anna is a speech pathologist with over 20 years’ experience working with young children in direct service delivery, consulting, and in program management roles.

Anna’s area of expertise is in early childhood intervention services (ECIS). Anna has worked in schools and early childhood settings to promote the inclusion of children with additional needs. She has held a range of positions in both community health, government and not for profit organisations.

Anna has provided advice and resources to educators to increase their knowledge and skills to enable children with additional needs to have access and to participate in the same learning experiences as their typically developing peers. She has had considerable experience implementing training resources for staff and families working with children with ASD, e.g. Pre-schoolers with Autism, Autism in the Preschool Years, Early Days.

Anna joined AHA in 2014 to work with the PSD Evaluation Team and she is currently a Senior Evaluator.

She brings a depth of knowledge of all speech and language related matters to this role. She has a broad knowledge of language assessment instruments and is skilled in the assessment and diagnosis of Severe Language Disorders including Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Anna has extensive experience supervising staff, preparing resource documents, conducting evaluations of complex evaluations and liaising with DET staff.

Her qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology)
  • Member of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Certified Practising Speech Pathologist.
Anna has a deep knowledge of speech and language related assessment and diagnosis.
