She has worked across a variety of paediatric settings including early childhood intervention, community health services, an Autism-specific school and most recently in a Private Practice. In all of these settings, she has developed her skills in assessing and treating children with both communication and developmental delays.
Lisa has developed extensive experience supporting children who present with a range of diagnoses including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and severe behaviour disorder. She has been involved in the assessment of students for PSD applications and has provided comprehensive reports in relation to ASD and SBD applications. Further to this, Lisa continues to attend regular Professional Development training and continues to build her skills and understanding of working with those across the disability sector. Lisa is currently in her third year as an evaluator for the PSD at AHA.
